Twin Cities divorce appraisal experts

Divorce sucks. Your appraisal shouldn’t

I’ve been through a divorce & know how stressful it can be.

First, let me say – I’m sorry things didn’t work out as planned.

Finalizing a divorce involves many decisions, including “Who gets the house”? You typically have two options with your home:

  • Sell it and divide the proceeds
  • One party can “buy out” the other

Hiring just one independent appraiser can help show a spirit of cooperation. On the other hand, multiple appraisals will have different values and may complicate decisions.

Let us help you make an informed decision with a well-supported, professional divorce appraisal that is defensible in court or mediation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Only a recent property appraisal from a licensed appraiser is defensible in court or mediation.

Keep costs down by ordering the appraisal in a timely manner.  Sometimes I get calls saying the appraisal is needed in a few days. That’s very quick, and unfortunately it ends up being more expensive.

Typically the appraisal is completed within a week after visiting the home.
